Designed with Japanese and Nordic Minimalism in mind, the Wabi-Sabi Lamp combines curvature and practicality.
The Design Process
The first step of the process was finding the desired curve and producing the laminate pieces.
Then, trial and error produced the angle in which the tripod legs were attached.
From the side, it is obvious this angle was not successful.
Next, care had to be taken to attach the shade pieces to the hollowed out dowel.
After finding the correct tripod angles, the wooden pegs were inserted and the legs where glued together.
